APGILS
(Scandinavian Language Tourist Guides' Association) is a non-profit
organisation ("Loi de juillet 1901"), a member of the National Federation of
Guide-Interpreters (FNGI).
APGILS
unites all Scandinavian or Finnish speaking tour guides in the Paris region,
and all over France.
In accordance with French law, every member must hold the tourist guide certificate
issued by the French Ministries of Tourism and Culture, which entitles them
to work as guides and guarantees a high level of quality service.
A listing of our most common services and fees will be given to you by the guide
upon request.
For services not mentioned, a price based on the existing list in accordance
with the nature and duration of the service will be calculated.
Conditions
APGILS
does not have any commercial activity as such and does not act as an individual
contractor.
All orders must be placed directly with the guide.
The association cannot be held responsible for any ordered or provided services.
All services have a fixed price, regardless of the size of the group.
All services cancelled less than 48 hours prior to service will be fully charged.
Some museums require a group reservation and charge a fee for this. A limited
number of participants in each group is also customary. Because of this, a second
guide might be needed.
The guide cannot be expected to advance money for tickets, reservation fees
etc.
If the services are not fully provided due to forces outside of our control;
such as, strikes, bad weather etc., the guide cannot be held responsible.
All guide's expenses, such as, accommodation, meals or transport, within the
limits of provided service, are to be paid for by the customer.
Meals outside of Paris or on a full day city tour ,when not taken together with
the group, are to be charged 22€ / meal.
Journey time with the group or to meet the group outside Paris, is to be included
in the allocated time. Taxis for early morning or late evening services (before
6.30 am or after 10 pm) will be charged.
